1. OUTLOOK: The weaker durable goods orders report dragged the market down. Yahoo-Microsoft partnership failed to ignite the tech sector. The "Beige Book" showed that economic activity remained weak. The market showed little reaction to the report. Market breadth was negative. On the Nasdaq, decliners topped advancers eight to five. US futures point to a higher open.
