JOHN
DEVINE, District Judge 221st
The Independent Conservative
Voters of Montgomery County endorses John Devine
in the run-off election for District Judge, to be
held on April 13. According to County
Chairman Joe Sager, "The ICV endorsement has
nothing to do with party politics, but goes to
the individual candidate who satisfies us that
he/she has a clear grasp of the Constitutional
principles that are supposed to govern our
nation. Too often we elect candidates who
take an oath to support and defend the
Constitution, even though they have never read
it, and who are offended when someone points out
to them that their policies or actions are not
consistent to that document. We believe
Judge Devine is an exemplary candidate who
understands his oath of office, and has a track
record to prove it."
The Montgomery
County chapter of ICV's is an adjunct of the
Independent Conservative Voters of
Texas.
