You are cordially
invited to attend
a gathering of
patriotic Texans who
will be
entertained and
educated by
Dr.
Thomas E. Woods,
Jr.
4
December 2008
Christ Presbyterian
Church
New Braunfels,
Texas
Dr. Woods is an
historian, scholar,
author, and champion of
the Constitution, and a
very brave man. How
many New York Yankees
will even show their
faces in public in
Texas? And how many
Catholics will speak in a
Presbyterian
church? He is a
Senior Fellow at the
Ludwig von Mises
Institute, (where you can
find a ten-lecture course
on economics and
political history),
frequently contributes
columns to Lew Rockwell's
website, and is co-editor
of
Exploring
American History: From
Colonial Times to
1877, an
11-volume
encyclopedia. He is
also an ardent supporter
of the South, and of
things Southern,
particularly of the right
of the People of the
South to seek their own
destiny.
Dr. Woods is an
entertaining speaker, but
unlike most entertainers,
packs a powerful message
in support of limited
government, bound by
Constitutional
restraints, and tempered
with Biblical
principles. You may
get a copy of his books
there, including the
popular
Politically
Incorrect Guide to
American History,
or may bring your own
copy and get it
autographed. You
may also get his latest,
Who Killed the
Constitution?
-
"If you want to
know why the federal
government regulates
the air you breathe,
the water you drink,
and the words you
speak, read Who
Killed the
Constitution?
This is a
no-holds-barred,
no-nonsense,
non-ideological,
profound analysis of
why and how those in
whose custody we have
reposed the
Constitution, those
who have taken oaths
to uphold it, have
not only avoided
preserving it but
have intentionally
exterminated it. When
the history of these
unfree times is
written, Tom Woods
and Kevin Gutzman's
fearless work will be
recognized as the
standard against
which all others are
measured." -Judge
Andrew Napolitano,
Fox News senior
judicial analyst and
author of The
Constitution in
Exile

Unfortunately, the
meeting is brief -- 7:00
pm, December 4.
Program will take
approximately two
hours. I would
prefer to drive half way
across Texas (or across
three of the lesser
states) to spend a day
basking in the brilliance
of Dr. Woods, but even
so, I'm planning to drive
to New Braunfels, three
hours each way, to spend
two hours in his
presence, and to then
dine at a nearby
restaurant with many of
you.
