Man Drowns in Backyard
Colleyville
Man drowns after
apparently falling into pool. Raymundo
Castillo-Medina, 28, Hispanic male of
1820 Wynn Terrace in Arlington, Texas
was discovered to have drowned in a
backyard swimming pool at 4807
Cranbrook Drive East on Wednesday
afternoon sometime prior to 4:00 PM.
The Medical Examiner listed the
drowning as Accidental.
The Cranbrook Estates home is listed in
the Tarrant Appraisal Records as owned
by Edward and Opal Dalalian.

Retirement
North Richland Hills Fire Chief Andy
Jones has announced that he is retiring
from the department, effective May 4,
2012. Chief Jones began his career in
fire service more than 38 years ago and
has served as chief of the North
Richland Hills Fire Department since
January 1998.
“Chief Jones has facilitated many
positive changes for the Fire
Department over the past 14 years and
his leadership will be missed,” said
City Manager Mark Hindman. “We wish him
well in his retirement.”

of a Motor Vehicle, not by forced entry
at 2302 Norwalk Drive in the
Summerbrook subdivision. Corporal
Officer Brian Wilson's report stated
that sometime between 4:30 PM and 6:10
PM on Monday evening, an unlocked blue
2010 Hyundai Elantra parked at the
address had been entered. Stolen items
included $90 in cash and a T-Mobile HTC
My Touch Glacier cell phone in a black
case covered in fake jewels ($450)
owned by Emilee J. Lutz, 34 of Fort
Worth, and $14 in cash owned by Margie
Sims, 56, of River Oaks.
Detective Kevin Walling is following up
the burglary.

Armed Services Scholarship From Texas
House District Represented by Rep.
Vicki Truitt
State Rep. Vicki Truitt (R-Keller)
is encouraging all interested students
from Texas House District 98 to contact
her office to apply for the Texas Armed
Services Scholarship Program.
The Texas Legislature created the Texas
Armed Services Scholarship Program to
encourage students to participate in
Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC)
programs at civilian colleges. The
Governor and Lt. Governor may each
appoint two students, and each state
senator and state representative may
appoint one student to receive the
conditional scholarship.

CEO meeting

Fadden, City of Colleyville’s City
Manager, will be the guest speaker
for the Colleyville Executive
Organization (CEO) on Thursday,
February 9, 2012 at 7:15 am, at the
Colleyville Center located at 5301
Riverwalk Drive, according to Rob
Rutherford, CEO Chairman.
Jennifer has more than 15 years
experience in local government
management, and became Colleyville
City Manager in March 2009. She holds
a Bachelors of Art degree in
Political Science and a Masters of
Public Administration
from the University of North
Texas.
Rutherford concluded, “Membership in
the CEO is extended to anyone that
lives, works or owns property in
Colleyville.” The CEO meets the 2nd
Thursday of each month from
7:15a.m.-8:45 a.m. at the Colleyville
Center.
