RICHARD RONALD RALEY, 50, of 3500 Cambridge Court in Colleyville. Colleyville PD - Two charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 3 = 28 Grams<200 Grams. Arrested at 2800 State Highway 121 (Euless) at 4:13 PM by Officer Brian Thorne. Raley listed his occupation as self-employed in Sales. His 2007 Hummer H2 was towed. Bonds totaling $40,000; bonded out at 7:45 PM on 11/05/09.
The bust began when Colleyville Police noticed two suspicious vehicles were observed by police on Wednesday morning, November 4th, in the parking lot of the Chase Bank at 5026 Colleyville Boulevard. One of the occupants, a white female driving a Chevrolet 2500 truck appeared to receive a monetary transaction from a middle-aged white male in an H2 Hummer.
According to public records, between the years 2000 and 2008, Raley's company received $16,358,245 in US government Defense Department contracts alone.
According to records obtained by LocalNewsOnly.com Raley has previous arrests for DWI, Fraudulent Possession of a Controlled Substance, Driving While License Suspended, and Theft of Service by Credit Card in Austin and Fort Worth.
Allegedly his first all from Colleyville's Jail was to his pal Jerry Jones and he has retained well known Fort Worth Attorney Jim Lane to represent him.November 21, 2009 Southlake, Texas
