The Tarrant County Republican Party will be
hosting the February 4th 2012 Candidate Fair
and Straw Poll at the Hurst Conference Center,
1601 Campus Drive Hurst TX 76054. This is a
FREE event for Tarrant County Voters to come
out and meet local, state, and federal
candidates in the Republican Primary. This IS
NOT your ordinary candidate forum with speeches
and rhetoric from a stage, this IS the voters
chance to meet the candidates one on one and
face to face!

At the GCISD School Board Meeting on Monday,
our trustees unanimously
> passed a significant change to the Sixth
Grade Curriculum. This change
> will combine the current "On Level" and
"Pre-AP" Levels and create a
"College-Readiness"
> track for those students not in the
"Accelerated (GT)" Program. While
> it is urgent and essential that parents of
current Fifth Grade
> students become informed on this action,
it has implications on all
> students in Elementary School in our
district.
