According to
the Cleburne Times
Review former
Colleyville Police Chief Donald F.
Steele Sr., 79, of Cleburne, Texas,
funeral was conducted Monday,
Oct. 25, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic
Church. Father Sergio Rizo will
officiate.
Interment services were in Moore
Memorial Gardens in Arlington after
the services.
According to a follow up article in
the Cleburne newspaper, Steele was
called on to provide security for the
transport of Lee Harvey Oswald the
day he was shot by Jack Ruby.
The paper pointed out that Steele
knew Ruby and called him a "wannabe
gangster."
