Maximize LinkedIn and Social Networking Sites: create your own virtual chamber of commerce

Friend,

I have really been going gangbusters with my LinkedIn strategies
lately and I thought I'd slow down some and share them with you.

The 30,000 foot overview is:

1. get as many connections as you can
   a. find and start groups that don't yet exist like inHouston
   b. invite those not yet on LinkedIn to let you show them the
value
2. grow your influence
   a. answer questions in the answers section
   b. teach groups how to utilize this for: business,
evangelism, causes
   c. get your groups to start growing the memberships of your
groups by inviting their own connections to join too
3. take it off-line regularly and frequently
   a. invite your Houston network to coffee or something that
fits their schedule
   b. strive to introduce them to others you have met on
linkedin and/or through other venues
   c. teach others how to optimize their linkedin profiles

It all comes down to what really successful networkers have know
and that is that it takes giving into your growing network
without any expectation of anything in return before you can
find real success in business networking. Isn't that true in
life?

If you are out there doing this, then lean back know that God
will make things happen. He is the Lord of the harvest.

Because of my exuberance for the Banking deal, my networking has
developed some amazing prospects and I am starting to set
appointments with Jack Jarrell and getting them moving ahead.

Thanks Bob for those questions on the last BYOB call, I sent
them as best as I could copy them down to my lists of candidates
and people are coming out of the woodwork to request more
information and set appointments to get their questions answered
after they have listened to Tim's audio and read the infinite
banking book.
