Welcome Friend to our March 2011 Newsletter.

“Labourware is amazing.....even better then I could have imagined” – Ron Maguire, President of CUPE Local 5555, our newest client. We are delighted to be working with Local 5555.

In this issue news about exciting new upgrades that we have built into the LabourWare Membership and Grievance Systems.

1) Customize fields seen in the Member and the Member-Employer Profile

  • To turn off unused fields go to Membership, Settings, then Profile. Choose the screen you want to edit.  Any fields you wish to stop seeing or using - just uncheck the box next to it.

2) New User Type -  Events User

  • This user type has the ability to create, edit and view events, as well as take attendance at events.  It does not give the user access to any other part of the system.

3) Upload documents to a Member file -  just like in the Grievance area

  • If you have a document you wish to attach to the member, go to the Add Additional info, click to browse to your file on your computer and then click upload.

4) NEW – choosing Articles and Clauses to reference in Grievances

  • No more selecting clauses one by one.  Now you will notice check boxes beside each Clause within an article. Select as many as you need, then attach all of them in one pass.
