I don't know how this happened, but I've had eight people in the
last few weeks write me and mention they have a problem with self
loathing. Not 'self hate' - they all mentioned the word 'loathing'.

I know the feeling. I grew up with it, and lived with it for
many years. I know how intense it can be. It seems like I hated
everyone and everything in the world.

Finally I was able to heal it.

It's a complicated energy. When you look at it logically, it makes
no sense at all. And yet, there it is, and no matter what you do,
it just never seems to end.

I've thought about this a lot, and about what would be the quickest
and easiest way to end it. Because, let's face it - hating yourself
has no value whatsoever. Hate itself has value, but not self hate.

Anyway, I finally decided that it would be best to record two
separate meditations to deal with self hate. The first one helps
you get out of that energy right away. (Well, in twenty or thirty
minutes.) And the second one will help you get to the root of the
problem, to remove the seeds of self hate. That way you can be
done with it for good.

So far I've only recorded the first one. You can use it not only
for self hate, but also for any of the severely constrictive emotions,
such as despair, extreme loneliness, and depression. Or, anger or
blame or fear or jealousy or whatever your issue may be.

This hits 'em all. It's kind of a clever way to feel better.
Actually, it's kind of sneaky in how it works. It's almost like
you don't even realize what's happening until it's already happened.
And you find yourself feeling better almost in spite of yourself.
