If you're stuck in a rut and nothing seems to be changing
it's
probably due to a limiting self image that's holding you
back.
Your self image is like an invisible cocoon that surrounds
you
and keeps you 'safe' in its own way.
But what if your image is like mine used to be? It's like I
was surrounded by a barb wire prison of shame. That was my
identity. Yeah, it was painful. But it was all I knew.
Even more, I actually believed it was 'who I am'. What a
sad
joke. I put up with so much pain when I didn't have to. I
truly had no idea how wonderful life could be. I thought I
HAD
to suffer.
I just didn't know any better.
Your self image stands at the boundary between your
conscious
self and your subconscious self. It's like a gatekeeper or
a
bouncer - that lets in certain energies, and denies entrance
to
other energies.
Your image is a resonance of all your thoughts and
feelings.
And as the nature of all resonance - it is more powerful
than
the individual ingredients that make it up.
If you have the resonance - the self image - of a person in
pain, then you WILL be in pain. And individual thoughts and
feelings that you think and feel will have little impact on
this resonance.
That's why its so important to work with your image - to
change
it to a new image that supports you in the life you want to
live.
A dynamic, fluid and flexible image - a LIVING image that
breathes - can lift you to heights currently unimaginable.
A static, rigid, deadening image, on the other hand, can
make
your life more and more painful as your world gets smaller
and
smaller.
I didn't come here to live a small life. I don't think you
did
either. To read more about the self image and how it works
