Message from the ISUOG
President
It is both an honor and a pleasure as
incoming president to stand on the
rapidly growing site of ISUOG’ new
headquarters. Notwithstanding the hammer
in my hand, together we build a society
that is more active, productive and open
to the world. Imaging has transcended
ultrasound, imposing new challenges and
offering interesting perspectives for our
appetite to learn and to benefit our
patients. Times have become more
difficult for many of us and ISUOG has
continued to thrive. We are therefore
committed not to increase the membership
fee while increasing benefits for our
members but also the public. More than
6,000 members are now spread over 120
countries and the main purpose of my
mandate is therefore to help you get the
best online service for learning and
networking. This Society is yours, get
involved and make your voice heard at
least on the website! We hope to see many
more still next year in Sydney!

Mongolia Outreach summary
The ISUOG Outreach team spent last week
at the National Center for Maternal and
Children's Health in Ulaanbaatar,
Mongolia, teaching basic ultrasound in
obstetrics and gynecology to 18
physicians from the capital and the
provinces. The trainees were very active,
enthusiastic and welcoming, and the team
was sad to leave this weekend but will be
eager to return for the second training
course. ISUOG wishes the trainees much
luck until we see them again! To read
about the daily experiences of the team,
