1. Upcoming IPO - Muthoot Finance Ltd

Muthoot Finance Limited (MFL) is entering in the capital markets with an initial public offering, IPO of 51.5 lakh equity shares of face value Rs 10 each. The price band for the issue has not been fixed yet.

Muthoot Finance Ltd is the Kerala - based largest gold financing company in India in terms of loan portfolio. Muthoot Finance provides personal and business loans secured by gold jewellery, or Gold Loans. They have 1605 branches across 20 states and two union territories in India.

The issue opens on Apr 18, 2011 and closes for subscription on Apr 21, 2011. The equity shares of the issue are proposed to be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE).
