1. Upcoming FPO - NMDC Limited

NMDC Ltd is coming out with a a follow-on public offer (FPO) of 332,243,200 Equity Shares of Rs.1 for cash, at a premium to be decided through a 100% Book built issue. NMDC Ltd is a fully Government of India owned public enterprise. NMDC is under the administrative control of the Ministry of Steel, Government of India. NMDC involved in the exploration of wide range of minerals including iron ore, copper, rock phosphate, lime stone, dolomite, gypsum, bentonite, magnesite, diamond, tin, tungsten, graphite, beach sands etc.

The issue opens on March 10, 2010, and closes for subscription on March 12, 2010. The equity shares of the company are proposed to be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE). The book running lead managers of the issue are Citigroup, Edelweiss, Kotak Mahindra, Morgan Stanley and UBS Securities. Karvy Computershare Pvt Ltd is the registrar.

2. United Bank of India IPO finally subscribed 33.38 times. United Bank of India IPO was open on Feb 23, 2010 and closed today on Feb 25, 2010 for subscription. United Bank has received bids for 1,66,88,50,900 shares as against issue size of 5,00,00,000 shares.
