A long, long, long update to day to catch everything up for the week!

I will report on the forex trading last, but I want to emphasize it before I continue with the other updates. Our trading is going EXTREMELY well and if you haven't considered getting involved yet, you should! You don't need to be able to figure it out, you don't need to have a ton of money to start, you just need to jump in and get going! I have very easy instructions for you to follow to do this. What started as our dream program has changed somewhat due to so many people joining so quickly. I still think it could be a viable source of income, but the terms have changed a bit... some in our favor (no need to pay to view ads now, no more pending funds - they go straight to your acct balance), some not in our favor (earn less money per ad views, limited to how many ad views by distribution of packs by admin, yearly membership fee for priority distribution.)

AdFlasher Update - major changes to program

Hey folks, any of you that signed up for AdFlasher recently should have received the e-mail from them yesterday explaining the new changes they have decided to make to the program.  I have been in contact with Support to clarify some issues I had, and I wanted to share that with all of you.

Here is the update if any of you missed it...my clarifications are listed below the update:

"We have been listening to feedback and reviewing the situation with View Packs. Since View Pack sales are limited based on Ad Pack sales it has become nearly impossible to purchase them. We understand it's not fair for us to create a situation where members have to constantly check the Buy View Packs page to see if any are available.

Consequently we have explored numerous other options. These options included auctions, reservation systems, random allocation and a few others. We were not satisfied that any of these options were the best solution.

We have reviewed our business model and have decided to make Ad Views free. Each completed view will pay $0.10. These free Ad Views will be assigned to members on a weekly basis based on Ad Pack sales from the previous week. Members may now upgrade and create a premium account. Premium members will receive free Ad Views with a higher priority. Premium memberships are $60 and expire 1 year from the date of purchase.

Additionally, we are aware that none of you are happy about the pending funds. With this new system your earnings from completed views will be available immediately. There will no longer be any pending funds.

If you still have pending funds in your account please be advised that you will be paid as per the original terms. AdFlasher.net is a new concept in advertising delivery and we might not get things right the first time. We are confident that this new model will allow us to grow and will dramatically increase the speed that pending funds are released.

Normally with a change such as this we would release advance notice. In our case it was important that we move fast in order to do what was best for our existing user base. Referral commissions have not changed. You will receive referral commissions on all premium membership purchases at the standard rate of 10%."

This program exploded a little over a week ago.  After hearing from Support, and I pretty much thought this myself, there would be no way to sustain this program as is without some major changes.  There were just too many people signing up and purchasing View Packs, and not enough people purchasing Ad Packs for this program to last very long.  This program would not have been able to survive without making some changes.

So the earnings have basically been changed from a possible $15 an hour to $10 an hour.  Your possible hourly earnings just took a 33% hit, and many of you have expressed how you have slow connections to begin with so surfing 100 Views in an hour was not possible.  It was taking you more like 2-4 hours.  For folks in that situation, your possible hourly earnings went down even more.

We will all earn $.10 per View instead of $.30, but we won't have to pay for the Views anymore.  The Views will be given to members for free.  If you are a Free member, you will not receive them nearly as fast as an Upgraded Member.  The yearly membership for AdFlasher is $60.  If you upgrade to the Premium Membership for $60, you will be given Views with a higher priory than Free members.  Basically if you are a Free member and do not upgrade, you will not receive free Views nearly as fast as a member who upgrades to a Premium Membership for $60 for the year.

I think this was a great change as it evens the playing field.  Their old system was basically first come, first served.  If you went in there at 10pm Pacific and noticed View Packs were for sale, you could potentially buy as many as you could afford.  But many of you would probably be in bed sleeping at that time so you potentially missed out on your chance to buy some more View Packs.  This new change should make it even for everyone, and you won't have to constantly log in hoping to see that some more View Packs are available for purchase.

Another great change is that when you surf your View and earn that $.10, that money is immediately available for withdrawal.  Any money earned will immediately be available for withdrawal without going into a "pending" status like it is right now.  The transition from pending to available has been extremely slow recently compared to when I first tested the system.  I'm sure there will be a minimum withdrawal, but this new change should definitely please many members.  Any Views purchased with the old system will still go through this pending transition, but any new ones you receive for free will be available immediately for withdrawal.

The real question for me was how many Views can we expect to be given each week?  That is great that they will give them to me for free, but if I am only getting 10 a week or some very low number, then this program (for me) would be a waste of time.  Support told me they will have no way of knowing how many Views will be available until they see how much revenue comes in from Ad Pack sales.  They told me the Ad Pack sales are dramatically increasing, and they expect that trend to continue.  More Ad Pack sales means more Views for members.  There is not really much to say here other than we will have to wait and see how many Views are given to us over the coming weeks.

When you go to purchase your membership, the site says they will guarantee you will earn $120 back over the course of the year.  This statement left me thinking that they do not expect to give hardly any Views to members on a weekly/monthly basis.  $120, with the new model, is 1200 Views.  1200 Views over an entire year, is about 23 Views per week.  Again, for me personally, if I can only make a little over $2.00 per week, then this is a waste of time for me.

Support told me that while they did put that guarantee in there, they fully expect members to make a lot more than that.  Again, it really comes down to how many Ad Packs are sold.  Bottom line....if they sell a ton of Ad Packs in the coming year, then members will receive a ton of Views to earn from. 

I went ahead and purchased the Premium Membership to basically test it to see how many Views I get in the next week or two compared to a free member.  So if you don't want to pay for the membership right now, as we don't really know the value of being a Premium Member just yet, you can hold out for a week or two and see what results I get.  Then you can compare them to yours, and then decide if you want to upgrade or not.  If I get 1000 Views, but a free member gets 10, then there is definite value in upgrading.  But if I get 50, and a free member gets 25, then there isn't much value there.  We will have to wait and see.
