  Here is the update part: Since I first recommended this company, they have changed the commissions structure so that you can't get paid until you have at least one personal referral.
  
  BEFORE they changed it, the idea for us as a passive group was to wait until we got paid, then use those funds to pay it forward for someone to join as our first personal referral.
  
  With the change, we have 4 options :
  
  1. You can pay for a MAP, which is $150 and you'd have to pay for it out of your pocket (they do have monthly payment plans as well, so you can choose to pay a little each month towards a personal referral rather than the $150 all at once. You can also pay for the MAP out of commissions, but until you get that first referral, even if you have a full matrix, you won't be credited commissions until you get your first referral. Catch-22)
  
  2. You can pay it forward to place someone in under you for the $98 entry, but again, this will come out of pocket instead of out of the first commissions. (Please note: using a PIF system, you will probably be placing another passive member under you, which is fine as it qualifies you. But by choosing a MAP instead, you may end up with a real go-getter under you as they will be entering the company with full understanding of the options.)
  
  On both these 2 options, you can wait until you are about to cycle and get paid so that the commissions pay you back this expense right away.
  
  3. You can use the wonderful tools and support provided by the company to start recruiting (not a passive option...)
  
  4. You can make a special request for a refund if you can't see any of the above options as working for you, if you did join back when the comp plan was "do-able" for a passive member.
  
  Now, of course, I recommend not only sticking with this one and just paying for a MAP (explained below), but even consider upgrading your position to the Fast Track option which will place you into 4 of the 7 companies right away (including the Trump Network) instead of waiting to cycle into them. It is about $150 more to do this (new members would pay $256 when they enroll. Existing members would pay the difference.)
  
  This is really a very nice business plan, not expensive, no monthly commitment but all the advantages of being in 7 "real" companies that will provide monthly residual income. I LOVE JVG, but as a passive group, we need to work with our options to make it work for us... I still believe it is quite do-able in any case!
