Hi
Friend
What a fascinating week! If
you were like many people you watched
the inauguration of President Obama
and were moved to
tears.
What was his election
platform? Hope.
Obama was elected on a
groundswell of hope for better things
for the future. He certainly has his
challenges ahead of him
.
Going back to Greek
mythology, when Pandora released all
the ills on the world one good thing
was also released - hope. Hope is one
of the most powerful human emotions
and can sustain focus during trying
times. Loss of hope is often
linked to loss of life. May we always
continue to hope.
Obama also talked about rolling
up our sleeves and getting back to
work, so in that vein this week's
newsletter is all about practical
work "stuff".
We start by looking at writing
business letters, before we move into
writing letters to your new
employees. Our business of the week
is all about removing electronic
graffiti from people who write on
your business walls.

What
makes a great business
letter?
Business and writing letters go
hand in hand. But so many companies
just dash off a quick letter and
wonder why they don't get results. In
this week's article I give you 20
things to think about before you
stamp that envelope.
