Hi Friend
Happy New Year! For me this a year of
real hope ... all lessons from history have
taught me that fortunes can be best made during
times of economic challenge, so roll on
2009!
In this edition I
start by looking at the lessons of Houdini
the escape dog and how they apply to goal setting
and planning. We then look at how supporting your
employees personal goals is a great business
strategy.
Our business of the week is what my kids so
nicely call "Mummy's Toys-R-Us" or
Bunnings to use its correct name.
THIS
WEEK
Reviewing
2008 and Setting Goals for
2009
How did your goals for 2008 go? Have you set
new goals for 2009? In this personal look at the
year that was, I look at the lessons I have
learnt from our hairy Houdini and how these
apply to business goals. I share what worked and
didn't work from my goals in 2008 and
what I am planning for 2009.

Business of the
Week - Bunnings Hardware

build loyal customers.
Blog Post of
the week: How a Copywriter Saved
Christmas
I was doing some research on the history of
Christmas, and discovered that Christmas as we
know it wouldn't have existed without
some great copywriters.
