Hi
Friend
The news has been full of doom
and gloom this week - billions
stripped from economies, exchange
rates dropping and people getting
stressed.
Originally we were going to look
at a more general marketing issue,
but given the context this week we
are looking at marketing and managing
in a downturn economy.
We start by looking at what you
should be doing with your marketing
right now. We then look at what you
need to be doing with and for your
employees during times of
challenge.
Good products and services
survive no matter the economy, so we
look at my latest new gadget to help
keep control over things before we
take quick look at one of the
most interesting books I have read
for some time - Behind the
Bestsellers.

good gadgets - no matter the economy,
good gadgets always have a space on

Post of the week: Lessons Behind the
Bestsellers
I am always fascinated by what
drives people to do things, so this
book about the people and situations
behind some of the bestsellers in the
world really got me in. It covers
people as diverse as Jane Austen and
Joan Collins and is definitely worth
a read.
