The news has been full of doom and gloom this week - billions stripped from economies, exchange rates dropping and people getting stressed.

Originally we were going to look at a more general marketing issue, but given the context this week we are looking at marketing and managing in a downturn economy.

We start by looking at what you should be doing with your marketing right now. We then look at what you need to be doing with and for your employees during times of challenge.

Good products and services survive no matter the economy, so we look at my latest new gadget to help keep control over things before we take quick look at one of the most interesting books I have read for some time - Behind the Bestsellers.
