Hi
Friend
The
business world has once again
changed. Are you keeping
up?
In
the USA, the Federal Trade Commission
has released new guidelines relating
to the use of testimonials and
endorsements that have many
businesses in a flap. Even if you are
not in the USA, there are bits that
are relevant to your
business.
This week we
start the first of a two part article
on the changes - and in particular
testimonials.
We
then look at another use of
testimonials - in recruitment, before
I share my testimonial (following the
appropriate earnings disclaimer
guidelines) of a local online
business.
THIS
WEEK
Are Your Testimonials
Still
Legal
Testimonials
are one of the most powerful tools in
marketing - but the type you collect
and how you use them has now changed.
I share my understanding of some of
the changes and give you a link to
the FTC's full explanation of the
changes and the revised
Guidelines.

Testimonials
are not just for products or
services. They are a great tool you
can use in the recruitment of
new staff.
