Well, I'm back from about a month off and ready to get back on a few wagons.
I want to thank each of you for your kind support and words of comfort regarding the passing of my father on April 30th at 80 years of age.
It was quite a month and the "event" aside, it was a truly amazing experience. I got to know my father in ways I hadn't in 37 years prior. Not only that, but it brought my sisters and I much closer. I was born 16 years after my three sisters, so didn't really grow up with them. The weeks we spent together at my dad's side really brought us together.
So, once again, I thank you and want you to know how much I appreciate your support. The next few weeks and months will be trying for me I'm sure as I've never experienced this sort of thing before. In the words of one of my readers "it's an event each of us as humans will likely share".
Some updates:
The May version of the Former Fat Guy Newsletter will be coming out shortly along with some updates to the website.
I've had a couple of questions emailed to me that I'm going to answer which include:
1. Can Fit for Life
cause you to lose muscle instead of Fat
2. Why Sunrider? Can one not get by on healthy foods from
the grocery
3. You've lost a lot of weight? Do you have loose
skin?
I added a FAQ section to my website where I can answer readers emails and posted a couple of questions just before I was called away last month.

Send your questions, I'll be happy to answer them.
A very exciting bit of information will be coming out early next week regarding Jeremy Likness of "lose f at, not faith" fame. Stay tuned for that
I'm very excited to let everyone know about two updates regarding Tom Venuto.
Tom's the author of Burn the f at , Feed the muscle. A great program that I highly recommend.
The first update is that Tom did an 4 part audio interview in which he discusses literally everything there is to know about fad diets, gimmicks, all the weight los-s BS and what you really need to know about burning fat.
You can pick that up here for a very measly $59 . Awesome deal. There's info in the audio series that is not in his book.
So, for less than $100 you can get both his e-book and the audio series. At two different places mind you but that's ok.

this is your chance to get in shape for summer. Burn a few pounds and begin to make changes in your life.
The second part of this whole thing is that Tom and I will be working on a new venture in regards to bodybuilding. Tom wants to take a step back from his current endeavors and put together something about fitness and bodybuilding. We're currently talking about it and will be putting something together shortly.
After being away from my regular weight training and cardio sessions, I'm feeling rather out of sorts. Two of the wagons I need to get back onto are the Fitness and BFFM programs. I've taken more than my share of liberties over the past few weeks but like Winston Churchill said:
"Success is working towards your goal in spite of total disaster"
I'll leave you with one of my favorite photos of my dad and I taken at Easter when my sister and I were visiting him in his home before he was taken to the hospital.
You can really tell the "Cooper" similarities of hair and nose.
