FormerFatGuy - Special Announcement
September 14th, 2008 at 9:43 pm
Hello Friend
It’s been a long time since I’ve been in touch with you and for
that I apologize. It’s been a very full summer for me and
I’ve got some exciting news to share.
First, to bring you up to speed, I made two fantastic decisions
this summer and my fall plans.
I met a woman last spring that literally changed my life.
She’s been my biggest support and friend for the last 15 months,
and I quickly new she was the one for me.
On Friday, August 8th, I took her away to one of my favorite
locations in the world and asked her to marry
me. We climbed Mount John Laurier, known also by
its native name Yamnuska, in the Canadian Rockies where I
proposed.
She said yes.

I have had it planned for a number of months, but was waiting for
the special arrangement of number occurring on August 8, 2008
(888). We have set the date of September 9, 2009 to be our
wedding date. Those numbers are 999 for an 888999
combination.
I’ve been asked what I have panned for October 10, 2010 (101010)
but I only expect it to be something digital (some of you will
get that).
Darlene is a professional photographer who has won many
Photographer of the Year awards provincially as well as being
nominated for Photographer of the Year for Canada this
spring.
She is as passionate about natural health as I am and has been
contributing the whole food recipes to my blog for the past
several months.
I was SURE she was the one for me when my cat Pumpkin accepted
her immediately. Boo hates everyone, so no surprise there,
but she’s coming around too.
The second announcement is that I was interviewed for
Mens Fitness magazine.
Mens Fitness magazine has a page in the back of the book
dedicated to fitness success stories. I was interviewed for the
November issue and then quickly had to get into a little better
shape before the photo shoot. Darlene shot me on the set of
stairs that I train on here in Edmonton and we sent them off to
the magazine.
Part of the “quickly get into shape” was to do a review of a
nutritional cleansing program.
I’ve know about cleansing for years, having done versions of them
when I first began my journey back in 1990 and have been wanting
to include one in my 12 Week to Better Health program I’ve been
writing over the spring.
In looking at the various programs available, I chose one that
was recommended to me by a good friend Paulette. She’s been
encouraging me to do this cleanse for about a year, and the
timing was finally right.
I was looking for something that I would be happy to recommend to
readers, clients and family because I’m quite particular about
what I put in my body and only recommend the best. I did
the research around product quality, company quality and
integrity and decided to give it my full attention.
What happened to me and some close friends literally stunned
me.
In my first cleanse program, I dropped 32 pounds
and gained an inch on my bicep. The inch on my bicep was
proof for me that I was building muscle quite rapidly.
I also set 4 personal bests in some of my lifts
in the gym as well during that same time.
FOUR PESONAL BESTS – I could hardly believe it!
When I started the cleanse, I asked for a few of the participants
who are following my 12 Week Program to do the cleanse with me
and four accepted. They got as astounding results as I did,
one dropping 21 pounds and 33.5 inches on her first
program and another 15 pounds on hers. The second
said that she doubled her strength in the gym as well.
I have now completed two cleanse programs and I’m getting ready
to leave for my trip to Nepal to climb to Mt Everest base
camp.
There are a number of reasons to cleanse, but first and foremost
is simply the lack of attention we give to cleaning the insides
of our bodies. We take a shower or bath daily, but rarely
give attention to cleaning out our organs or our cells.
Yes, the body is meant to clean itself, but if it’s been clogged
up over the years from toxins that we have been exposed to, it
simply doesn’t do the job the way it was intended.
“where are the toxins coming from?” you might
ask
It was much easier before the industrial age. Even in the
early part of the 1900’s there were no pesticides and
herbicides. Animals were fed rich, organic foods.
However, in the early part of the 20th century farmers began
using synthetic herbicides and pesticides on their crops.
Some studies show that in the US alone over 1 billion
pounds of pesticides are poured onto crops every
year.
I think we’ve all eaten some sort of fruit and vegetable over our
lifetimes, so if the numbers are correct, each of us has
herbicides and pesticides in our bodies.
Lets face it, no matter where we look, there’s “something” around
us, that we eat, drink, breathe or we let touch our skin that
might very well end up in our body:
- Mercury from fish
- Flame retardants from things we sit on or materials inside airplanes
- Lead from our water pipes
- Aspartame, NutraSweet or other artificial sweeteners from diet products
- PCB’s or DDT from when we were kids and they were considered safe
- Bisphenol A from the water bottles we’ve been using for our beverages
And that’s just to name a few.
Then there is the chemical soup from the cleaners we use in our
house and cars and in our shampoo and conditioners we use on our
head every day.
Our bodies have been exposed to mans chemicals creations going
back three or four generations now.
This is why I have made the choice to do this cleanse and
recommend you do the same.
As part of my “getting ready to go” and as a way to drive home
the results I’ve gotten thus far, I’m beginning a 90 day
cleanse and want to invite 10 of my readers to join
me.
I’m looking for 10 people who want to join me and be personally
coached through a journey to improved health, fat reduction and
lean muscle building by myself and my coach through the entire
period. Personally coached means on the phone coaching on a
weekly basis.
The program costs about $10 a day, but allows for two meal
replacements, so in essence, becomes price neutral (my
term).
I wish I could work personally with everyone this first session,
but due to the amount of personal time spent coaching each of
these 10 people and my own training schedule, that is near
impossible.
This cleanse program is for people who are serious about making a
change in their life right now and for anyone who wants to kick
start their way to a “New You”.
The 90 day program would last until the second week of the new
year – a good way to keep on track through the holidays and begin
getting your new years resolution results before the year even
starts! Who would like to be involved in that?
I’ve seen this work first hand in myself, my fiancé, and close
personal friends, and for the record, I’ve never seen something
produce positive results as quick as this ever before in my
life. It’s time for me to share these wonderful results
with you. Yes YOU!
I can only take 10 people at this time, so if
you’re interested, and prepared to take action right now, reply
to this email and send these details so I can get in touch.

For the time being, I have to limit this to people living in
Canada, the United States, Puerto Rico, Australia and New
Zealand.
I’ve had so much fun being a part of the transformation that has
occurred over the past few months with friends and family that I
want to finally share this with you.
If you’ve ever wanted to do a cleanse, or to take action on your
health and weight, this is what you’ve been waiting for.
I encourage you to take action on this right now
I hope to speak with you very soon.
Until next time,
Eat well, be well
Rob
PS: In doing my research and due diligence on the cleanse
and cleanse quality, I was happily pleased to find that at least
ten of the principles that I teach to my readers are included in
it. They and I are in complete alignment when it comes to
nutrition and health principles
PPS: it’s easy, it’s doctor approved and it tastes great.
PPPS: I've been asked this a number of times by people we've
shared this with, so wanted to offer a picture of the rings
too.
