  called The Town of Allopath was just released online by popular
  health and wellness website Mercola.com, the video is already
  building viral steam (and major controversy) across the
  Internet.
  
  The entertaining 7-minute video animation creatively parodies
  everyone involved in the existing health care system - the
  greedy pharmaceutical industry, the self-interested medical
  profession, the inept FDA, a general public ignorantly aiding in
  their own downfall, and even the so-called "crackpots" and
  "quacks" who are ridiculed for sounding the alarm.
  
  Dr. Joseph Mercola, founder of Mercola.com, expects to be
  inundated with hate mail from those who have a vested interest
  in maintaining the medical "status quo." He admits to a thick
  skin, however, stating: "I'm willing to risk criticism for the
  chance to inspire people to examine their own beliefs about the
  existing medical paradigm, which is riddled with flaws that are
  dangerous to both their own health and the nation's financial
  future."
  
  Dr. Mercola predicts that health-conscious viewers will quickly
  be attracted to The Town of Allopath's simple and colorful
  message.
  
  At the same time, he hopes that the video will illustrate the
  need for everyone to "take off their blinders and wake up" to
  the very real issues of political favors, scientific bias,
  widespread greed, shady deals, and self-imposed ignorance -
  issues he believes are rampant in health care today.
