Former F@ Guy Alert - Stupid Reasons People Die
June 11th, 2007 at 3:52 pm
Hi Friend
I'm not sure if all my emails are making their way past the
spam filters because of the word "fat" in the subject line
from my domain formerfatguy, so I've changed it to F@ .
I've have a couple of announcements that I wanted to make
you
aware of regarding some important reading and a Peak
Potentials
seminar that is not to be missed (Buzz Aldrin - the
astronaught
who walked on the moon is going to be there as well as many
others... see below)
If you're a long time reader, you'll know that I've worked as
a
facilitator for Harv's Peak Potentials courses since I had my
own
experience with them at Millionaire Mind and then at
Warrior
Camp. I've posted a lot of my experiences about this on my
blog.
I have an entire website that tells of my own Warrior Camp
experience. It's at :
http://warriorcamp.googlepages.com
Last year while running an event at Warrior Camp in California,
I
had a student who's also a doctor. His name is Dr John Corso
and
he's recently written a book called "Stupid Reasons People
Die".
I was given a signed copy and have been reading it over the
past
few weeks.
Dr Corso brings to your attention that something is
terribly
wrong. Thousands of people are dying in the prime of life,
year
after year and for no good reason.
Your #1 , greatest risk of an early death is from a disease
that
can be prevented or successfully treated. Yet, it slips in
easily and frequently, picking off it's victim because we
aren't
paying attention.
If there were hundreds of complicated things we needed to do
to
avoid such a disaster, there might be an excuse for not
taking
action.
Truth is that there are only a few stupid reasons people
die;
they just happen to kill a whole lot of people.
I have a new appreciation for "what's nat-ural" after reading
this
book.
Dr Corso has helped me challenge my beliefs and assumptions
on:
Health care Aging and disease The term "all nat-ural"
And where exactly prescription drugs may or may not play a
role
in our health and limit the likelihood of an early death.
You can view a short 3 minute video on my blog here:
http://www.formerfatguyblog.com/health/stupid-reasons-people-die-dr-john-corso.html
Where Dr Corso describes the importance of getting a checkup.
He
says that even people with low cholesterol levels are at risk
for
heart attack.
It's the people who feel great and then die in the prime of
their
life simply because they did not take advantage of the
current
technologies. The vast majority of heart attacks occur in
people
with normal or low cholesterol.
Stupid Reasons people die woke me up to how people can
misunderstand the statistics of medicine.

The second thing I would like to bring to your attention is a
new
seminar being run by my mentor Harv Eker of Peak
Potentials.
It's a "no charge" teleclass to introduce you to this
amazing
seminar.
A few years ago my friend and mentor T. Harv Eker had a
fantastic
dream. He was little more than an aspiring trainer at the
time
and his dream was to create a single event that would
revolutionize the Human Potential Movement.
Harv's dream stands as a shining example of the value of
thinking
beyond your perceived limitations. At the time he was a
tremendously successful entrepreneur and consultant, however,
his
feet were barely wet in the field of Human Potential!
Harv's dream was to be in a position to pull all of the top
thinkers of our time into one place, at one time, and bring
thousands of eager students to experience an unparalleled
transformational process.
It is now just a few short years later and T. Harv Eker, as
CEO
of Peak Potentials Training and author of the #1 New York
Times
bestseller, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, has reached
the
pinnacle of the industry and, for over two years, the
entire
staff at Peak Potentials Training have been working around
the
clock to make Harv's dream a reality.
The result: Seminar of the Century!
Seminar of the Century is the culmination of all of T. Harv
Eker's work and sacrifice on his way to the top. His dream was
to
provide the most informative, motivational,
transformational
event ever put together. This event is a celebration of life
and
is a tremendous reward to Harv's loyal friends and
students.
The event will be set outdoors in the beautiful mountains
near
Aspen, Co. Thousands and thousands will be in attendance and,
if
at all possible, you should find a way to be there as well.
There simply is not room for everyone to attend and, of
course,
not everyone is in a position to go. But because Harv wants
this
celebration and the transformational concepts to be accessible
to
everyone, Peak Potentials will be hosting a one-time-only,
Transformational TeleClass.
Register for the TeleClass here:
http://www.formerfatguyblog.com/recommends/wftm
The TeleClass will introduce many of the empowering concepts
that
the unprecedented line-up of speakers and trainers will
break
down for those in attendance at Seminar of the Century.
The line-up to date includes:
* Buzz Aldrin
* Jack Canfield
* Bob Proctor
* Art Linkletter
* Alan Cohen
And of course, T. Harv Eker himself. There are many other
brilliant speakers, trainers, and entertainers... some of
the
largest names will be kept under wraps until the event.
The TeleClass can not duplicate the experience of being at
the
event, however, it can introduce you to the concepts and
life
altering techniques that people like Jack Canfield and Bob
Proctor are using to change countless lives all over the
world.
Who will actually be on the call is being kept a secret, so
you
won't know until you register and the phone in. It could be
Buzz,
it could be Jack or any of the other speakers from the
event.
I'm told there will be three of them, but like I said, we
won't
know who.
The TeleClass can introduce the kind of self- affirmation,
belief, and positive thinking that brought Buzz Aldrin all
the
way to the moon, and back.
And best of all, because Seminar of the Century is set up by
Harv
as a way of giving back to his friends and students, there
will
be no charge for the upcoming TeleClass.
Visit this link to register for the TeleClass:
http://www.formerfatguyblog.com/recommends/wftm
There's no charge, and no commitment, it's a "no charge"
TeleClass.
Rob Cooper
P.S. This event is being dubbed the 'Woodstock for the Mind'
by
everyone who knows the top-secret details of the course. In
keeping with that theme, Seminar of the Century will also
include
several huge musical names to make this a truly memorable
event.
The event will be set outdoors in the beautiful Rocky
Mountains
of Colorado and the beauty, the energy, the music, and the
course
material will all combine to create the most
transformational
experience this century.
If you are truly serious about elevating your life to the
next
level, register for the TeleClass and block July 6-8 off in
your
calendar to attend Seminar of the Century.

These items are un-related, with the exception that Dr Corso is
a
student of Peak Potentials and has taken the courses.
PPS: I'd also like to thank those of you who joined my new
forum and are participating in the discussions.
www.formerfatguyblog.com/community/
I'll send a short email tomorrow to remind you of the call
and of the book launch.
Rob
PPPS: I didn't misspell nat-ural. Turns out the word
without
the dash is considered spam. Funny that.
