Friend, health effects of Splenda
October 11th, 2005 at 11:44 pmHey there, Friend I was just reading some really scary, yet
important info on Splenda... maybe you've heard of it, maybe you
even use it... So I wanted to share the info with you... here you
go: Splenda Invades the Cereal Market Splenda is now America's
leading sweetener, displacing real sugar manufacturers. However,
the public is starting to catch on to the potential dangers of
Splenda and McNeil wisely decided to take a proactive stance and
seek to give themselves a healthy image by financially supporting a
health initiative. This is just another example of their deceptive
marketing ploys. It's a great move on their part, as the average
consumer is currently clueless about the health side effects of
Splenda and this positioning will help to convince them that
Splenda is harmless. However, that will not last much longer. You
can't hide the truth from the public for much longer. Soon the
public will learn the many hidden dangers of Splenda, not the least
that it is made from phosgene, a poisonous gas.

http://www.mercola.com/2004/jul/21/splenda.htm So what's it all
mean? Well, just like every thing else, you can't mess with nature!
Don't screw things up trying to make them no or low calorie... My
recommendation to you... if it's not found in nature don't ingest
it! Sugar however isn't really an answer either
http://www.formerfatguy.com/articles/124reasons-no-sugar.asp and
here's an interesting article by Jeremy Likness about the history
of sugar:
http://www.formerfatguy.com/articles/sugar-coated-truth.asp Your
best bet is to find a good quality Stevia product and stick with
that. I carry Sunrider stevia with me everywhere. It comes in a
small bottle I carry in my pocket and it's very concentrated.. a
little goes a long ways. if you're curious, ask me about it, or
email me your phone number and I'll call you personally to speak
with you about some healthy choices. if it comes down to it
though.. sugar is a better choice than anything man made. Until
next time, Eat Well, Be Well Rob www.formerfatguy.com
