When ideas fail, words come in very handy. (Goethe)
Phone interviews can be killers. (Monday I'll talk about them.)
The smartest people in the world often find themselves at a loss for new ideas. They have four choices:
1. Start talking and look like a fool
2. Shut up and look intelligent
3. Start asking questions and become intelligent
4. Recite a script
Please avoid #1. Especially in a phone interview.
#2 can work if done right.
#3 is wonderful
#4 works amazingly well for some people
