[ASI] The Russian Connection to BostonApril 19th, 2013 at 6:56 pm

Dear Friend of America's Survival:
BIG NEWS. It is reported that the dead suspect in the bombing, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, traveled to Russia in January 2012 and didn't return until July.
It is possible he received military training there. He may even have come into contact with al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri, who was trained by the Russian KGB and may still be in Russia, under the protection of the Russian government. He could also be in Iran. This fact would explain why Obama hasn't killed him with his drones.
You need to know more about the Russian connection to Islamic terrorism.
Alexander Litvinenko, a former Russian intelligence agent who fled to London, told Konstantin Preobrazhensky that al Qaeda terrorist leader Ayman al-Zawahiri is a KGB agent trained by Moscow. Litvinenko is believed to have been poisoned by Russian intelligence on the orders of Russian President Putin.
Here is where it gets interesting. Fred Kaplan has just written an article for Slate titled, "How Vladimir Putin Could Help Boston." This is pro-Moscow propaganda. He says Putin could and should help us in this terrorism probe. Left out of most Kaplan biographies is the fact that he used to work for the Institute for Policy Studies (IPS), which cooperated with Moscow during the Cold War. What Kaplan is proposing is exactly what Moscow wants out of this terrorist incident.
Instead of pleading for Putin's help, the U.S. should be demanding the truth about the terrorist bomber's Russian connection. Did he go to Chechnya, the Muslim region of Russia?
Kaplan says this: "Russian intelligence services are all over Chechen radicals. That means that if—and this is a very big if—the Tsarnaevs had ever been in touch with Chechen radicals or with Islamists elsewhere who have ever been in touch with Chechen radicals, then Putin's spy agencies have a record of it."
Well, yes, that may be the case. But if that is the case, then why didn't Putin warn the U.S. in advance? Did he warn us? Not likely.
What you need to know is that some of the "Islamic terrorism" inside Russia has been staged by the Russian KGB. Putin is a former KGB officer. Was there a Russian hand in the Boston bombings?
In our report, "Communists and Muslims: The Hidden Hand of the KGB," Konstantin Preobrazhensky warned U.S. policy makers that the phenomenon known as "Islamic terrorism" or "radical Islam" cannot be separated from Moscow, even today, after the collapse of Soviet communism. He said there is substantial evidence of Russian involvement with the Islamic terrorist networks, and that several highly-publicized cases of Islamic terrorism in Russia were in fact carried out by the FSB, the Russian Security Service, and successor to the Soviet intelligence service, the KGB.
This book tells that story:
Please read the Preobrazhensky report to understand what is going on.
Kaplan's advice for Putin may come to pass. Putin could "reach out" to Obama, offering his help. That would be clever on Putin's part. Or Obama will ask for Putin's help, in order to make Putin look like a good guy in all of this.
This is the time when the Communist/Russian connection to Islamic terrorism should be exposed. Obama won't do this. But we will — and we have.
So we have two important immediate challenges — get Congress to investigate Al Jazeera and stop the channel's penetration of the U.S. media market, and get Congress to investigate the Russian connection to Islamic terrorism.
Our media are running interviews with various Russian relatives of the suspects, saying they could not possibly have been involved in terrorism. They couldn't do these interviews without Moscow's approval. This suggests Moscow has dirty hands in this sordid episode. Moscow seems desperate to divert attention away from these Chechens.
I anticipate Moscow taking the Alex Jones line — that U.S. federal agents or even U.S. intelligence agencies were behind the bombings.
Jones is a fool. We don't have to listen to him.
On the other hand, Obama occupies the oval office. Don't let Obama cover up the nature of the Russian connection or ask for Russian "cooperation" in this probe.Send me your thoughts at Kincaid@comcast.net
