Obama isn’t going to be deterred by the loss of Van Jones. He’s moving on. That’s because he realizes that his movement is far more than one man. He has an army of “progressives” behind him.

As Bob Chandler argues, “Despite claims that the ‘honeymoon is over’ and that Obama’s favorable ratings in the polls are falling, this ‘progressive’ movement is well-funded and very powerful and must be considered to have the political edge, especially because of the Democratic Party majorities in Congress.”
