NOW YOU KNOW:

State Budget Update From
President Steve Hicks

First of all, I'm sure many of you are aware of the dire situation at Bloomsburg University. Our thoughts go out to our friends and colleagues there, as well as everyone affected by the recent flooding.

In other news, we are hearing reports about the impact of this year's budget cuts to the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. However, all we have at this point are anecdotes; we need data. We need as much information as possible to give our legislators the full picture of how the state budget is affecting our campuses and our students.

APSCUF members -- Would you please take a few minutes to complete a survey on the impact of state budget cuts? We will share the survey results with legislators and with you in the near future. Thank you in advance for your time and feedback!
