jobs are the number one
priority.
- How does higher
education affect jobs and the
economy?
- In the second quarter of 2011, the
unemployment rate in Pennsylvania for
those with a high school diploma was
9 percent.
- The unemployment rate for those
with a bachelor's degree or more?
4.5 percent.
- According to Georgetown's
Center on Education and the
Workforce, 57 percent of
all jobs in Pennsylvania
will require some post-secondary
training beyond high school by 2018.
