Air Quality Advisory
Tuesday and Wednesday, July 16-17, 2013

Northeast Ohio: An Air Quality Advisory for ozone has been issued for Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage and Summit Counties. The advisory will be effective on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 16-17, 2013. Air quality levels will be 'unhealthy for sensitive groups' during afternoon peak periods on both days.
If you are in the 'Sensitive Groups' category of children, the elderly and those with breathing difficulties, please monitor your outdoor activity and check live map of air quality readings.
Light winds, high pressure and high temperatures will assist the formation of ozone over Northeast Ohio. Breathing ozone can aggravate asthma, bronchitis, and other chronic lung diseases. Reduce the time you are active outdoors.
