Northeast
Ohio: An Air Quality
Advisory for fine particles and
ozone has been issued for
Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake,
Lorain, Medina, Portage and Summit
Counties. The advisory will be in
effect on Saturday, June 30, 2012.
Air quality levels will be
'unhealthy for sensitive groups'
during this
period.
|
|
If
you are in the 'Sensitive Groups'
category of children, the elderly
and those with breathing
difficulties, please monitor your
outdoor activity and
check live map of air quality
readings.
|
|
Ground level
ozone forms when pollutants react
in the presence of sunlight. Calm
atmospheric conditions assist in
the accumulation of pollution
resulting in hazy
atmosphere.
Please limit your outdoor
activities and drink plenty of
water.
