Glutt equals Dwindling
Numbers
With the recent rash of people
hosting giveaways thinking they
will build these huge lists, with
the exception of the fraud
events, it is my opinion that
they will all suffer relatively
low numbers, including our own,
due to the percentage of the
people interested in the events
being spread out and divided
among all the events, in essence
creating disappointment for many
people.
Concerning the fraud events, I
figure it will be the same old
garbage just a different name and
a different date - 4000+
contributors 300 gifts
etc.
As a matter of fact and the
statistics reflected today and at
this very moment, one of these
events that we have ourselves
joined to watch the mayhem boasts
a whopping 593 total
contributors, 547 Free,
46 upgraded, and 65 submitted
active gifts.
To be even close to what we have
experienced these last four years
with our events at bare minimum
there should be at least 50% of
the contributors with submitted
gifts .....
It would be interesting to know
relative to all the events
offering referral contests -
though impossible to get the
truth - at how many of these
events will LOSE
MONEY with there large
referral contests and the hosts
will be pulling out cash to pay
off the contest winners out of
their own pockets and putting a
very bad taste in their mouths
for quite awhile while at the
same time teaching them a
valuable lesson.
For us it is not such a big deal
losing the money this way because
it is a tax write off for our
company while at the same time
our lists still continue to grow,
unfortunately I think that
several people are about to take
a big hit on after tax earnings
being paid out to those whom won
the contests or have their
reputation so badly battered they
will be put out of the market -
BP Stocks anyone?
We will continue to host our
events as always as long as time
allows and we will always keep
our commitments to our
subscribers and members :-) to
include the payouts of our
contests.
However, as time allows is
admittedly becoming less (see
article titled "Retainer" below)
as our core business thrives in
the current economy due to apples
to apples quality and better
customer service our core
business services are lower
cost then all known credible
competitors and people are
actually seeking to cut
costs.
