my name is Bob and I am on your
mailing list as XXX
I have a problem or should I say
my security on my computer does
not like your emails.
When I try to open an email from
yourselves I get a message to
tell me,
"This page provides potentially
unsafe
information to an Activex
Control.
I have taken part in several of
your giveaways and always note of
what I think I might want to
contribute to, but I also find
that I cannot activate the links
on your page.
If we can't find a solution to
this matter I will need to
unsubscribe.

sir thank you for your email - we
appreciate your input :-)
As you mentioned sir - your
security settings are giving this
message - This
page provides potentially unsafe
information to an Activex Control
- and the
key words here is "potentially"
and the fact is that this
particular email
setting flags all activex
controls no matter whom or what
they are from.
We believe the warning
specifically comes from the
embedded video's we offer
in our newsletters.
There are four possible options
to deal with this problem that we
are aware:
1) change the security setting to
allow activex controls - In our
personal
case - if this is on our Quick
Books Online Accounting that we
have been with for 10 years this
year - will not work.
2) change the security settings
to not allow html email -
accepting only
text emails.
3) change the newsletter format
and not include video affecting
thousands of subscribers.
4) unsubscribe from the
list
We do appreciate and value you as
a member of our list and your
participation in our events,
however, to change this would
mean to affect all the 8000 other
subscribers that we have never
heard mention this
warning - actually they have
written asking how to change this
security
setting.
With all the above in mind, the
only option we have (and will
undertake) is to not include the
video's in the content of the
newsletters - which we try
to be different adding real
content then the rest of the
marketers and majority that are
constantly publishing "buy my
stuff" or "buy what I am
promoting" people - therefore the
final decision, which will
hopefully stop
your computer from reporting this
message - is to no longer include
the
videos but direct links to them
:-) showing our true appreciation
of and
wanting to accommodate our
readers.
Therefore - when we publish our
next newsletter - please send a
report that
you no longer get these messages,
or if you do get the message
please let us
know too - which would be greatly
appreciated as we will make every
reasonable effort to resolve your
concerns :-) and hopefully avoid
this for other folks too
:-)

always we will respect your
privacy :-)
