Bob gets lambasted
..... but this time undeserved
.....
On Sunday I received an
advertisement from Bob that I
thought was total BS and it was
also using one of the most common
and ridiculous tactics there is -
though in this case it may have
been warranted .....
I was so PO'ed at the
once again SCARE tactic so
commonly used among some
marketers and most Governments
that I went totally ballistic in
my inquiry to the
truth.
Here is my return
letter after receiving more
information to Bob and the TRUTH
within .....

and yes it has been a long
time.
I not only digress but send my
expressed apology for me losing
my temper at what seemed to be a
total BS story to me due to my
profession being Network/Server
Administration ..... but spanning
multiple servers is absolutely
possible, probable if in the same
NOC, and shows complete utter
incompetence at the hosts
level.
If the host were competent, then
at the very most it should have
been limited to one server with a
breach caused by one of the
servers users – and a complete
monthly backup restored.
If they are using cloud type
servers then this is what they
deserve due to it’s known
security flaws.
I thank you for your measured and
logical response and I can
understand the reasoning for the
solution you offer.
However, the correct solution is
obvious since this solution
provides a backup but does not
address the real problem – the
hackers - do NOT use cloud
servers if this was part of the
equation, get a real competent
host that will stop them dead in
their tracks and that makes
monthly backups .....
Though I am not referring to you
or anything related to you Bob in
the following statement, and once
again I apologize for my
emotionally charged response to
the advertisement of the WP
Backup:
I am sick and tired of people and
Governments self proclaiming
their competence when in fact
most of them are 99% stone
cold liars, the scare tactics
and lies by marketers and
Governments, the I sold one
product so now I am an expert
marketer – join my coaching
class, I have had one
successful giveaway so now I am
the Giveaway King, or I have a
degree from Harvard so I am
competent to run a Government
when in fact I do not know my
ass from a hole in the
ground.
I often write about this
bullshit in our bi-weekly
newsletters.
When I am wrong – I shall admit
it and I obviously made a mistake
to include not having all the
facts, insufficient information,
and to go further by confronting
you with my obviously incorrect
suspicions.
I have always liked and respected
you Bob - and still do - unlike
how I feel about most of the liar
marketers.
