Bob writes
in!
As
all of our long time readers know,
we have spelled Bob's name
backwards so that nobody will know
whom we are talking about
.....
Bob
writes in asking us to increase the
font for our newsletter to make it
easier for him to read.
Therefore
beginning with this edition of our
newsletter we are testing out the
new font size and hopefully Bob
will be able to view our
newsletters without having to break
out the magnifying glass or needing
binoculars :-)
Bob
- we are more then happy to see if
it will work out and so far so good
:-)

Penny wise and
Pound foolish
It
simply amazes us how many people
call us to obtain
DSL Internet Access that have
burned their local phone carrier,
have no landline phone, and when
they get the Time Warner Cable
Access bill start searching for
cheaper Internet Access.
Instead of
paying AT&T or SBC for stripped
basic phone line service around $15
a month plus a couple bucks taxes -
getting
DSL Internet Access for
$26.60 - they end up stuck with
Time Warner whacking them much
more then $45+ a month.
For
those in Verizons territory - they
do not even have to have phone
service - we can hook folks up to
DSL Internet Access for a
flat out $30.60 a month.
We
are still working on the Bell
Canada network which is just about
complete, the only bone of
contention right now is that we
have is being a tax agent for the
Government having to collect the
13% HST Tax - in which we totally
disagree with but will have to
comply ..... the cost of doing
business with Canada.
Internet Access
in order of cost monthly
recurring:
Dialup Internet Access as low
$9.00
DSL (Dedicated Digital Subscriber
Line) as low as $19.95
depending on location.
Cable (Shared
Digital Access) $30+
Satellite (Slow
and Expensive) $60+
Wireless though
not in the above order of expense,
is a wild card and can even be free
in some places - however speeds are
relatively slow - normally double
dialup, but cannot compare to DSL's
almost 30 times faster.

Bob Writes in
about Contributor Kit Download
Problem
2010-09-19
13:05:25
Hi,
Well, I signed up, then
confirmed, but NO GIFT. Man, I'd
really like to have the "How
To Be A Contributor Kit", and
you've got the "market cornered"-
as you're the only one offering
this product in this particular
Giveaway.
My friend, I know you value your
list, and I can see by your
website and this "Support" script
that you're fairly well set up to
do business. I also noticed that
you're using GetResponse - the
second best autoresponder out
there, so I know you're getting
my opt-in. (Too, I've never had
trouble getting GetResponse
emails...) And, just in case I
missed something, I've also
looked through your website, but
couldn't find any mention of the
"How To Be A Contributor Kit"
there, either.
Anyhow, just a "heads up", if you
don't already know there's a
problem. Hope you can fix it
soon, and it doesn't wreak too
much havoc on your IM business,
or your reputation...
P.S. If you get it all working,
I'd love a copy of that gift. My
email address is: XXXXXXXX
Thanks,
-Bob

Hello Bob
:-)
thank you for your letter letting
us know that there is a problem
and that this gift is not being
delivered.
I have gone into Get Response and
to my horror found that many of
our settings are missing or have
been changed though I am sure
there was not a security
breach.
I will tell my boss about this
immediately because the Get
Response settings are beyond my
authority to deal with.
However, I have attached the
Contributor Kit to this
ticket for your
convenience.
If you have any questions please
contact me :-)
Sincerely,
Peter Arshinkov

Greetings Bob
:-)
we have resolved the issue you
had reported and found it to be a
url buried deep within a database
- which was correct at one time -
but needed to be changed after a
server update done a couple
months ago and mod_security
blocked the old address.
With 135 sites it is hard to
think of everything or anticipate
every possible contingency
following updates and we are
sorry for the
inconvenience.
However, this issue has been
permanently resolved, had nothing
to do with Get Response, and was
totally on our part to
modify/fix.
The reason we have a monopoly on
this gift is because the
kit is of our own creation as
most of our gifts and does not
come with any rights other then
personal use.
Thanks again and for letting us
know :-)
If you have any questions please
contact me :-)
Sincerely,
Joseph Anderson

Government Horror: Congressional Dims
schedule Gold regulation hearing
|
Alan Greenspan: "Gold is the canary in the
coal mine"
|
"Gold and Economic Freedom" by Alan
Greenspan - 1966
|
From Future of
Capitalism:
Just as the government is trying to prevent
people from investing in anything other
than T-Bills by raising taxes on taxable
interest and dividends to confiscatory
levels, it's also trying to prevent you
from parking your wealth in assets, like
gold, that compete with the paper dollars
issued by the Federal Reserve and the
Treasury. A press release from Rep. Anthony
Weiner, Democrat of New York, not yet (as
of this instant) posted on Mr. Weiner's Web
site, announces that a September 23 hearing
of the Subcommittee on Commerce, Trade, and
Consumer Protection (a subcommittee of Rep.
Henry Waxman's Commerce Committee) will
focus on "legislation that would regulate
gold-selling companies, an industry who's
[sic] relentless advertising is now staple
of cable television."
From the press release: "Under Rep.
Weiner's bill, companies like Goldline
would be required to disclose the
reasonable resale value of items being
sold." That's great. Are Mr. Weiner
and Chairman Bernanke also going to agree
to print on every dollar the reasonable
expectation that its value will be eroded
by inflation?
Gold investors (or speculators) are already
punished by the federal government by
.....

From Zero
Hedge:
On September 15, former Federal Reserve
Chairman Alan Greenspan made a speech to
the Council on Foreign Relations. Some very
interesting comments he made with respect
to gold were reported in an editorial in
yesterday's New York Sun,
"Greenspan's Warning on Gold"...
... On this occasion, Greenspan, who has
been famous for gobbledygook that leaves
the audience guessing what he meant, did
not mince his words. He said, "Fiat money
has no place to go but gold."
He further commented that "if all
currencies are moving up or down together,
the question is: relative to what? Gold is
the canary in the coal mine. It signals
problems with respect to currency markets.
Central banks should pay attention to
it."
Greenspan was a close friend of the writer
Ayn Rand and he reportedly read drafts of
her novel "Atlas Shrugged" before it was
published and even had a letter published
by The New York Times in November 1957 in
response to the newspaper's negative review
of the book. In 1966 Greenspan wrote an
essay published in Rand's newsletter "The
Objectivist" titled "Gold and Economic
Freedom" .....
|
Here are
some very important and relative to today
excerpts form Alan Greenspans 1966 artricle
on "Gold and Economic
Freedom" - We offered some
comments which are contained within
brackets [].
Clicking
more below offers the
complete article.
It was
limited gold reserves that stopped the
unbalanced expansions of business
activity [and Governments],
before they could develop into the
post-World War I type of disaster. The
readjustment periods were short and the
economies quickly reestablished a sound
basis to resume expansion.
But the
process of cure was misdiagnosed as the
disease: if shortage of bank reserves was
causing a business decline — argued
economic interventionists — why not find
a way of supplying increased reserves to
the banks so they never need be short! If
banks can continue to loan money
indefinitely — it was claimed — there
need never be any slumps in business. And
so the Federal Reserve System was
organized in 1913 [illegal
unconstitutional Central Banking, of
course we found out what a big lie this
was due to the Great Depression of the
1930's that followed].
But the
opposition to the gold standard in any
form — from a growing number of
welfare-state advocates — was prompted by
a much subtler insight: the
realization that the gold standard is
incompatible with chronic deficit
spending (the hallmark of the welfare
state). Stripped of its academic
jargon, the welfare state is nothing more
than a mechanism by which
Governments confiscate the wealth
of the productive members of a society to
support a wide variety of welfare
schemes.
[Seems all too
familiar?]
This is the
shabby secret of the welfare statists'
tirades against gold. Deficit spending is
simply a scheme for the confiscation of
wealth. Gold stands in the way of this
insidious process.

Small Biz in
America
Insight on the
struggles of making it as an
American small business owner, with
Bernie Marcus, Home Depot
co-founder. Remember, the folks in
Washington are the Monsters among
the people.
From
Daily Crux co-editor Brian
Hunt:
CNBC has its faults, but once in
a while, it gets some incredible
things pressed to video.
One such thing is a recent video
of Bernie Marcus, the co-founder
and former CEO of Home
Depot.
Marcus spends over 10
minutes laying out the problems
with the absurd anti-business,
anti-hard work, anti-personal
responsibility policies and
rhetoric seeping out of
Washington D.C. these days… and
he does so in a basic, “barstool
wisdom” style of speaking. It’s
just a fantastic breakdown of
what’s going on in
America.
This is a video worth spending
some time on, and worth
forwarding to everyone you know,
including your elected
representatives.
