NOMINATED THE BEST JOKE OF THE YEAR
…..
A Russian arrives in New York
City as a new immigrant to the
United States.
He stops the first person he sees
walking down the street and says,
"Thank you Mr. American for
letting me come into this
country, giving me housing, food
stamps, free medical care, and a
free education!" The passerby
says, "You are mistaken, I am a
Mexican."
The man goes on and encounters
another passerby. "Thank you for
having such a beautiful country
here in America ." The person
says, "I not American, I
Vietnamese."
The new arrival walks farther,
and the next person he sees he
stops, shakes his hand, and says,
"Thank you for wonderful America
! That person puts up his hand
and says, "I am from Middle East
. I am not American."
He finally sees a nice lady and
asks, "Are you an American?" She
says, "No, I am from Africa ."
Puzzled, he asks her, "Where are
all the Americans?" The African
lady checks her watch and says,
"Probably at work."

On January 4th 2012,
after dinner my wife noticed that for the
first time in a long time I turned on the
news and I was actually watching Euro News
to see what was happening in South
Carolina.
My wife asked
why I am watching and I told her that I
wanted to know how well Ron Paul is doing
in the election.
She wanted to
know why I even care since we do not live
there - and I told her I care because the
Americans are my people and the Political
people are killing the country as so many
other countries in the West.
We talked about
the other candidates, how they are all
proven scum liars to include Obama and
wondering if they will give the only
honest man a chance.
My wife then
took my hand and she said these startling
words to me ..... "just like when the
American public voted to elect Obama for
President in 2008 and all but ignored Ron
Paul then - they WILL get what they
deserve"
She said "when
our own country elected a Fireman to be
Prime Minister we got what we deserved
and we are still getting it ..... Just
like America with Obama, Bush, and the
other familiar liars."
After some
careful thought I realized how right she
is - if America keeps electing these
idiots into office, the same idiots that
appoint the Supreme Court Justices, the
same idiots that are not qualified to run
a lemonade stand ..... she is right
they get what they deserve though it is
certain a portion of them will not, the
portion whom voted against these
morons.
Obama promised
"the world" to get elected similar to
those running now. Jobs, security, the
end of the wars etc. Well tell me
Americans whom voted for this obviously
lying piece of garbage - how is that
working out for you?
I CANT HEAR YOU!
What's the matter - cat got your
tongue?
For thirty years
one man has been true to his word, one
man has told what was and is happening
and yet many Americans are in denial
while this candidate for President gets
almost totally ignored by the Lame Stream
Media ..... After seeing the below video
and understanding the Soldiers and TRUE
(Constitutional) Americans within brought
tears to my eyes. Will present day
Americans give this REAL American, Ron
Paul, a chance to fix our country? ....
as my wife all too often reminds me now
whenever I mention politics "They get
what they deserve"
Now it is time
America ..... the choice is yours, choose
one of the criminals that are running
for President or choose what is in my
opinion the only elect able person
running for President - we will see -
because America will get what it deserves
..... and therefore the tears in my eyes,
it is almost certain that most WILL make,
once again, the wrong choice :-( and I am
afraid America will continue it's current
historic decline from the Greatest
Country in the World to a Fascist
Dictatorial State.

... John Allison is the former chairman and
CEO of BB&T, the nation's 10th-largest
financial holding company.
He was named one of the 100 most
successful CEOs by the Harvard Business
Review and since 2009 has been on the
Wake Forest University Schools of
Business faculty as Distinguished
Professor of Practice.
Allison spoke to the Trib about
the Federal Reserve Board's detrimental
effect on the nation's slow recovery from
the worst economic downturn since the
Great Depression.
Q: Can the Fed be labeled more of a
hindrance than a help to the
recovery?
A: In my view, absolutely yes. You
have a group of government bureaucrats
who are in a massive redistribution of
wealth in the United States.
The Fed, by its own
acknowledgement, is holding interest
rates lower than they should
be.
They're doing that to
subsidize homeowners, many of whom bought
too-big houses. And who pays for
that?
People who save money --
particularly older people, who are now
getting much lower interest rates on
their certificates of deposit than they
would be getting if we had a
market-determined interest
rate.
Q: What do you see as the primary problem
with the Fed?
A: It's a group of...

The United States Congress has teed up two
separate bills which give government
agencies sweeping new powers to punish
millions of innocent users, criminalize
harmless activities, and effectively make
entire websites disappear at their sole
discretion without any judicial
oversight.
In a nutshell, these bills would create the
online equivalent of Nazi Germany.
But what can we really expect from these
people? It's not the first time that
Congress has gone out of its way to destroy
freedom and prosperity, and it certainly
won't be the last. Just look at the last
decade for a plethora of examples...
There are, of course, dozens of other
examples. Obamacare. Dodd-Frank "financial
reform." And now the Stop Online Piracy Act
(SOPA)/Personal Information Protection Act
(PIPA).
Hey, these laws like SOPA and PIPA always
have great names. Just like wars. Operation
"Enduring Freedom" was the moniker given to
the early days of the U.S. "War on Terror."
It all sounds very noble. The reality is
always different.
Throughout history, governments on the
brink of insolvency have routinely enacted
similar policies. Sliding into economic
obscurity, they'll engage in reckless,
cannibalistic initiatives– higher taxes,
burdensome regulation, war, destruction of
the productive class, etc. It only hastens
the end game.
This time is not different. And we can
expect more and more of the same. Up next
will be new laws that...

United Nations may think they're weapons of
mass destruction, but Americans seem to
disagree.
2011 was yet another record-breaking year
for gun sales, with Americans purchasing
some 10.8 million firearms, a 14% increase
over the previous year and up over 50% from
10 years ago, as reported by the National
Shooting Sports Foundation...
... Why are more Americans choosing to own
firearms? Reasons range from citizens'
increased awareness of the Second
Amendment, protecting the individual right
to own firearms that was reaffirmed in two
recent Supreme Court decisions, to
increased interest in personal and home
protection that may be due to economic
uncertainty, to increased interest in
shooting sports and hunting.
Politics has played a role, too, with a
surge in firearms sale beginning in October
2008, in part because supporters of the
Second Amendment feared the election of
less gun-friendly candidates, including
Barack Obama, and new, restrictive gun laws
they might advocate. Though such
legislation has not happened, industry
professionals at the SHOT Show believe a
similar reaction this election year is
possible that could ignite another surge in
firearm sales.
Related to the topic of gun sales is the
public's changing attitude toward
ownership. A recent Gallop poll showed a
record lack of support for gun control,
with only 26% of Americans favoring a ban
on the possess...
