Busy
Building
We at AECNU have been busy
building -rather more accurately
rebuilding some of our web
properties for in some cases
first time launches and in other
cases updating them with a fresh
new look.
(All graphics and resources for
the new sites are courtesy of our
very own Photoshop PSD Graphics
for All membership web
site)
Specifically this last week we
have been hammering away at our
Home Based, Office Based Business
site (brick & mortar type
businesses) and a redesign of our
hosting web site :-)
Many of our sites will be getting
a "Spring Cleaning" this year
with a shiny new look, updated
information, and in anticipation
of the upcoming launch of our
brand new set of servers (still
sitting in a box) in
Columbus.
Stay tuned - as we will give the
URL's as soon as they are
completed and we are sure that
some of you will be thrilled
:-)

Alarmist BS Alert (the sky is
falling, the sky is
falling!)

LOOK OUT! The boogey man
will get you!
If you haven't seen them yet,
there's a bunch of emails
circulating about how some
marketers web sites got infected
with a horrible virus and that
there IS a cure.....
True - there is a website virus
(the 'Gumblar' virus) that
was
reported starting about a year
ago, and it can / could be a son
of
a gun if it infects you &
your web sites
BUT
Do a little of your own research
before you even think about
jumping on the 'Alarmist
Bandwagon'.
This isn't the first time, and
won't be the last time that scare
tactics have been / will be used
to sell something.
In this case though, when you're
facing something as
potentially
dangerous as this purports to be,
check it out for yourself
first,
don't just jump at the first
'solution' that's thrown your
way.
First: How real is the
threat?
Second: Is the potential solution
provided by a competent provider
whose business it is to deal with
these types of threats?
Third: Is there an easy
fix?
The 'Gumblar' virus IS real,
however if you run a Google
search, you'll find a lot of free
solutions to locating and fixing
the problem, as well as free
places to test your websites to
find out if they're infected or
not.

site that will test your sites
for a
myriad of problems (including the
'Gumblar' virus)."

In Conclusion:
~ If someone (especially in this
industry) says that the sky is
falling, before you jump on the
bandwagon, check it out for
yourself to ensure that it really
is.
~ Find out what caused / causes
it & what you can do about
it.
~ Is there an effective free or
affordable solution from a
reputable company that
specializes in that type of
problem?
Your subscribers and your clients
will greatly appreciate that
you
took the time to research it for
yourself.
Especially if you're able to help
them effectively solve
their
problem(s) - and save them some
money too .....

Of course as most of you already
know we spelled Bob's name
backwards so nobody will know
whom we are talking about :-) Bob

Another reason that it's a slower
turn out is because of the
"Follow the
Leader" game a lot of
newer people play. They read from
a guru what he's doing and try to
emulate the idea creating
saturation. Traffic exchanges are
a bit down right now in a
popularity scale, but they'll
always be needed. It's a matter
of time. Sites are going up for
sale daily because of
"competition", I'm not worried
about it.
Mentioning earlier the follow the
leader game, I feel
that's why there is limited
success for people on here
(Internet) - what
happened to ingenuity and
change?

To say

Obama administration requires ever
increasing use of sleight of hand
magic.
However
it is very difficult to hide the fact
that the Largest-ever federal payroll
will hit 2.15 million.
The era of big government has returned
with a vengeance, in the form of the
largest federal work force in modern
history.

Remember
the proverbial run on the bank? Well, that
was the norm (or rather the outlier) before
governments decided to backstop entire
financial industries residing within their
territory. As a result, the post-Lehman
version of "the bank run" will henceforth
be referred to as "the country run" and for
an example of one in practice, look no
further than Greece.
The Guardian reports that investors have
pulled a stunning €8-10 billion since the
Greek crisis commenced in earnest last
November. If true, this is the beginning of
the end for the troubled EMU-member
country.

On last
Thursday’s CBS Evening News, anchor Katie
Couric lamented the impact ClimateGate and
other recent scandals involving fraudulent
global warming data have had on the climate
change debate: “Experts insist the
overall conclusion remains the same, that
climate change is real, but...such errors
provide ammunition to
skeptics.”
As we
in most of the world are in places that
are experiencing record cold with
temperatures in the negative "C's", to
include in our case that winters have
been getting colder each year for the
last 6 years, I am a firm believer that
the Main Stream Media are nothing but
propagandists ignoring reality to further
a Government control and wealth
redistribution agenda via climate change
legislation.
