Almost back
to normal :-S
We have been working hard to
catch up and we have been burning
the candles at both ends

Progress on our
Photoshop PSD Graphics for All
II is finally being
successful with the launch of our
Brand New 16 CPU Server, though
we still have to fix some
graphics on the description pages
since the site has been moved to
the new server.
Nevertheless we will be working
hard this weekend getting the
graphics issue handled and more
additions :-)
Eva and Villy have just about
finished sorting the tens of
thousands of new graphics for the
site that are to still be added
:-)

Rick Santelli went a little nuts this
morning, in a rant that easily qualifies in
his Top 3 of all time. The gratuitous
rating tends to correlate with the peak dB
achieved while screaming at some gratuitous
idiot and/or the length of applause by
fellow CME floor members. (We also
appreciate the advertising).
Rick gets wound up based on earlier
disclosure by Bill Gross that if the
government guarantee of the GSEs were
removed, he would only participate in the
mortgage market if there was 30% down
payments by first time homebuyers

International reports Tensions Rise in
Greece as Austerity Measures
Backfire:
The austerity measures that were supposed
to fix Greece's problems are dragging down
the country's economy. Stores are closing,
tax revenues are falling and unemployment
has hit an unbelievable 70 percent in some
places. Frustrated workers are threatening
to strike back.

Athens' massive efforts to sort out the

This Just In: California sends government
workers home without pay
|

Bloomberg:
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger said 150,000
government workers must begin taking time
off without pay starting Aug. 20 following
a court ruling lifting an injunction
temporarily blocking the furloughs.
The California Supreme Court, saying it
would review the governor’s plan, stayed
decisions by lower courts that had halted
the furloughs. Schwarzenegger directed
state workers to take three unpaid days off
each month to save cash. The high court set
a Sept. 8 hearing on a challenge to the
order.
California began its fiscal year on July 1
without a spending plan after
Schwarzenegger and Democrats who lead the
Legislature remained deadlocked over how to
fill a $19.1 billion deficit. The
Republican governor on July 28 issued an
executive order for the monthly furloughs
until a budget is passed.
"The result of the Supreme Court ruling
today means the furloughs will continue
until the court says otherwise," Aaron
McLear, a Schwarzenegger spokesman, said by
e-mail.
A union for state engineers has sued to
block the plan.
