Automation
Setting automation rules not only saves you time, but lets you manage your campaigns in the most efficient way. As your internet marketing business expands, you will soon have a vast number of campaigns, and automation is there to assist you with organizing your work.
Your subscribers can be moved from one campaign when they sign up for another. Or they can be removed from one list and added to another once a sale is made. There really is a number of possible automation combinations, all based on four main actions: sale, subscribe, remove, and change messages.
To set a new automation rule please choose the campaign you whish to set it for first. You can do that by going to >> Campaigns >> Automation >> and choosing the campaign's name from the list on that page. Please note that you can always move to another campaign by using the handy "Change Campaign" button.

Once you choose the right campaign you can click the "Add new automation rule" link. You will then see a drop-down box including the four main actions. Choose one of them to start automating your business.

1. Sale
A sale is a purchase which requires a payment to be processed. There are two actions that can be automatically performed upon a sale being made in a certain campaign.
- Remove on Sale
Once the sale is made in a certain campaign your subscriber can be automatically removed from its Active list, and due to this no longer receive your follow-up messages. This is very useful for removing someone from your advertising campaign, once they purchased a particular product.
To have this rule set please follow the steps:
- go to Campaigns >> Automation
- choose a proper campaign
- click "Add new automation rule"
- choose "Sale"
- choose "Remove"
- click "Add Rule"
- Move on Sale
Another possibility is to have your subscribers moved from one campaign to another once a sale is made. For example, a subscriber can be automatically removed from your advertising campaign, and be added to another campaign for a particular product.
To have this rule set please follow the steps:
- go to Campaigns >> Automation
- choose a proper campaign
- click "Add new automation rule"
- choose "Sale"
- choose "Move"
- click "Add Rule"
2. Subscribe
- Remove on Subscribe
You can have your subscribers automatically removed from campaign A once they subscribe for campaign B.
To have this rule set please follow the steps:
- go to Campaigns >> Automation
- choose a proper campaign
- click "Add new automation rule"
- choose "Subscribe"
- choose a proper campaign
- click "Add Rule"
3. Remove
- Remove on Remove
You can have your subscribers automatically removed from campaign A once they remove themselves from campaign B.
To have this rule set please follow the steps:
- go to Campaigns >> Automation
- choose a proper campaign
- click "Add new automation rule"
- choose "Remove"
- choose a proper campaign
- click "Add Rule"
4. Change messages
- Preload on Change
You can choose to have your messages automatically preloaded on every change that is made in the messages source.
For example, say the message "Try our other new products!" arrives as a follow-up with several of your campaigns. Using this rule, when you update the original message with new product info, all other campaigns will be preloaded with the new version as well!
