Broadcast Wizard
E-mail marketing is all about keeping in touch with your subscribers and providing them with comprehensive information. Whenever you feel there is something your subscribers should know about, you can easily create and send a broadcast. Broadcast Wizard will guide you though the complete process. Let's take a look at the Wizard's steps:
>> Step 1 Choose Campaign
>> Step 2 Create Broadcast
>> Step 3 Select Subscribers
>> Step 4 Send Broadcast
STEP 1 Choose Campaign
The first Wizard's site contains your campaigns list. Please choose a campaign which you wish to send the broadcast from. Simply click the chosen campaign name and you will be automatically taken to the next step.

STEP 2 Create Broadcast
Before you start working on your broadcast you need to choose the message type. It can be either plain text, HTML, or a template. To choose a template click the box next to the "I want to choose message template" words.

You can choose from a number of template categories or order your own customized template. Simply click the category you are interested in, and then the template preview you like most.

You will then be taken to the message editor where, depending on what message type you choose, you either create your own message or edit the chosen template.
GetResponse provides flexible and easy-to-use tools for creating broadcasts. All of the necessary options and actions can be found on this page.

Message Format
In order to choose your message format you need to click on "Plain Text" or "HTML Body" above the message body box.
GetResponse has created a tool that will open a brand new world of possibilities – a world without message format limitations. You not only have the ability to choose to send Plain Text or HTML messages, you can now easily generate both message formats. Thanks to this, you no longer need to worry about your subscribers not being able to see your broadcast only because their email client is not able to read its format.

STEP 3 Select Subscribers
Before you send a broadcast you need to decide who will receive it. Wizard's third step is a list containing all of your campaigns, as each of them has its own subscribers list. Once you click on the "+" next to the chosen campaign name you will be able to choose active, inactive or all subscribers on this certain list. There is an additional option called "Subscribers Group", which is a pre-set group of e-mail addresses.

Please note that you can set different target combinations.
Example: you can decide to send your broadcast to inactive subscribers in "Campaign A", active subscribers in "Campaign" B and all of "Campaign C" subscribers at the same time.
There are two additional options:

The first one allows you to manually select individual e-mail addresses from the chosen lists. The second one is to save the combination of recipients as a Subscribers Group, so that it is easier for you to find them in the future, once you decide to send them another newsletter.
STEP 4 Send Broadcast
Your broadcast can be sent out immediately after you create it, or scheduled for future delivery. To send it instantly, you must check the box next to "Deliver this broadcast immediately" and click "Publish". For future delivery, please set the time, choose the target time zone and click on "Publish" to have it set.
